Mark, why did you trade your TL for the G? I've driven the TSX and find it fun to drive, but is not as powerful as the G, since it's a 4cyclinder. The TL is very nice, but not as much fun to drive with the manual trans. I may switch to a AT, if the TL were my selection. I think the interiors of the Acuras are nicer than the Infiniti.
I don't want to steal the thread although I'll answer the question since you are asking. I liked the TL but I love my G. There are pluses and minuses to both cars but you said it in your question, "the TL is very nice, but not as much fun to drive". The G made driving fun again and the TL is bland by comparison. I have a 1978 Porsche 911 SC Turbo Body, much more noiser than the G but it has character, much the same as the G to the TL.

If you're looking for a sport sedan the TL is an excellent choice.
The pluses for the TL 1) excellent interior layout 2) 5.1 audio system 3) interior space 4) touch screen nav
The minuses 1) front wheel drive 2) inferior front seats 3) 65/35 weight distribution 4) rattles, not built as well as the G 5) large turning radius

I have the 18" wheels without the Sport Suspension Package and the ride is almost as good as the TL. If ride quality is your only complaint about the G, get 17" or 18" rims and swap out your rear springs go with OEM non-sport rear springs (the front springs are the same for both packages) or go with after market springs on all 4 corners with lower spring rates.

IMO, they are both excellent choices but the G is sportier, sexier, just plain better looking.
