staggered g35 sedan questions

well i was wondering how many people are running 19x9.5 in the rear and 19x8.5 in the front? isnt this fitment possible with our rubbing with the right offset? or what are some good offsets? i was told yesterday that i couldnt run staggered offset on my sedan.only g35 coupes can run staggered fitmets.

i hope these questions makes sense. i currently have 19's on my sedan and the tires i have are 245 in the front and 275 in the rear. i want to get rid of those wheels and get some wheels with a nice lip in the rear
so someone please give me so advice

Plenty of people, actually most of the people here are running staggered wheels on their sedans. but i dont get why you're asking if it's possible without rubbing if you already have 19's. do they currently rub, if so what is your suspension setup and offset's on the rims? the most common offsets for 8.5F and 9.5R are 38mmF and 43/45mmR. and you obviously can run staggered on your sedan if you've already done it so whoever told you that you couldnt doesnt have a clue what they're talking about.

well i went to a rim shop here in houston and the guy told me that i couldnt run a staggered set-up on my sedan. im like wtf? i know that there are some guys on this board that are currently doin so.but my question is what offsets? like i said i am looking for a nice fat lip in there rear. so i am either gonna stay with 19's or get some 20's staggered. my 19's currently are 19x8.5 on all four corners.

I have VOLK LE37T with Michelin Pilot Sport:

front: 19x8.5 +43 offset with 245/35-19
rear: 19x9.5 +43 offset with 275/30-19

no rubbing whatsoever, the diameter of both tires is within 1% of the OEM diameter. perfect fit.

if i had to do it again, i'd get +40 offset all-around. with +43 offset, the clearance between the rear rim and the Stoptech 14" BBK calipers in the rear is 1.8 mm (yes, one point eight millimeters) - fits, though, no rubbing on the calipers, no marks or any problems.

Don't anticipate that big of a lip in the rear. The sedan just isn't set-up that way.

tru dat. with 19x9.5 in the rear, my lip is about 1.5". in the front with 19x8.5 - it's about 0.5". it depends on the offset a little, and on the rims model, too. but all in all, cru is right again.

Although +40 is good from a BBK clearance standpoint, it is very dangerously close ro rubbing, so you can kiss the Tein CS goodbye!

i *would* kiss Tein CS goodbye if i *had* +40 - but i have +43. and if them suckers rub, i'll just have them fenders rolled.

As said in previous posts, you can run staggered fitments on a sedan with the right offsets and tire sizes. Please feel free to contact us for your wheel needs for your sedan.
