black stains on oem 19 rims

black stains on oem 19 rims

has anyone gotten black (oil like) stains on their 19" oem rims? I cannot get it out with any wheel cleaner and it looks like crap. i can post pics if anyone wants to see

using the wrong cleaners can stain the rims and it cant be removed

I've used Turtle Wax Bug & Tar remover (black & green spray bottle) on mine, to remove some grime and it works well IMO. OEM wheels are a PITA to clean.

I had some brownish oil-like stains on mine and used Mr. Clean "Magic-Eraser" and took it right out. It's non-ebrasive so doesn't leave any scratches.

or just use a very small dab of gasoline and wax afterwards.
