qualified wheels for G35C- opinions please

I'm thinking somewhere down the road I'm going to get new wheels, There's alot of cheap rims out there and they don't look half bad.

I know I shouldn't put cheap rims on a coupe however it's going to make the car itself look bad. Volks are my favorite but what do I know, I've never bought rims on a car before always kept stock, I've been a performance guy with all of previous cars all go, no show but I think I'm liking the show side of auto enthusiast now that I'm a little older there's no point of being too fast.

I can't see myself spending 4-5k on wheels set up so I'm thinking of going a cheaper route... what RIM brands would you guys go for and what wouldn't you put on a G... example Enkei, BBS, etc...

That way I can take some time and look for a nice set for a good deal.\\

Thanks

just stick with what you like.. volks. they're not too expensive. They're even cheaper when they're used if you're willing to buy used wheels. Sometimes they come with tires when people try to sell them. I've seen one set of SF challenges go for $2500 with tires. Only a couple hundred miles on them too.

Get some DPE's, 3 piece forged..extremely high quality.

There's a lot of vendors on this board that can get you price quotes once you figure out exactly what you want.

i agree..... just buy what you like.... doesn't make sense to buy something others like and you don't...... lots of money for something other people's taste....

DPE are 2-piece, and you really can't get a set for under $3500-4000 for the wheels only

You can't go wrong with Volks, but only if you don't mind half of the board having the same wheels as you.

Other than that, there's always iforged, PIAA, Maya. Very few BBS wheels come in G35 fitment and they aren't cheap.

since you like volks, i think you should check out the gram lights. the are really light. the 18s weigh less than my 17s. if you are looking for something with a lip, you should check out the 57pro or the 57s pro. both looks really good but the biggest size is 18x10

Who cares what others think.. do what YOU want to do..

I went on tire rack and found a set of SSR D5R's 18x8.5 and 18x10 for 800.00 for the set, came with new lug nuts, center cap, ring, etc... they were on clearance so it was 50 percent off. I will have pics up soon i just bought them friday. The wheels are made in Japan are forged 3 piece and fairly light. They look great and have gotten many compliments just over the weekend.

One specific model comes to my mind:

VOLK SF-CHALLENGE 19"

Rear - 275/40/19
Front - 245/40/19

Those are HOT
