5Zigen Hyper

Does anyone know if the 5Zigen Hyper 5ZR come with the rivets in the 19 inch size? I've seen rivets in the 18 and 20 inch sizes and no rivets in the 19 inch size. Has anyone seen 19s with rivets? Thanks.

I just ordered the 19" Hyper 5ZR in SMB. They don't come with rivets which is why I got them. The 18" and 20" models have them. Personally I can't imagine washing my car and then spending another hour toothbrushing rivets which is why I wanted to avoid them at all costs. I also suggest swapping out the OEM brake pads if you get wheels with rivets as they will get dirty very fast.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice. I never really liked the rivet look much until I saw these. Still not totally sold on them yet. I'll consider teh cleaning aspect, wouldn't have thought of that.

that is very true. Which low dust pad would you recommend?

I went with Endless Super Sports-S pads. Other pad choices can be found on this forum. Endless Vita Nuova is another less expensive pad that got good reviews with low dust. Others have gone with Hawk HPS. I've had mine for over two weeks already and dust accumulation is very minimal.

Thanks, I will look into those. I know a search is the best thing to do 1st--but thanks for the examples--it will help with my searching.

BTW, if you want, I've already written up a first impressions review of the Endless Super Sports-S pads here:

Hope that helps.
