The other option is to get the car up to about 30-40mph and brake hard a couple of times. That will heat them up and burn off the dust. Plus, it's easier to do when you're in the car, hear the noise, and remember it. Occassional moderately-hard stops generally keep the rotors clear. Light stops all the time let the dust build up.

I rarely have that squeeling problem on my car. My wife occassionally complains about squeeling brakes on her car, but it tends to go away after I drive it around the block. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

not the brake dust, my did the same thing. take to the dealer and have them spray the brakes. i can remember with what, but after they did it, they were fine. they have been great for about 3 thousand miles. it was some sort of acid.. couple of people told me about it... hope it works for you... noise might be apparent for a couple of miles after you get it done. free of charge as well
