shouldn't you be comparing the t1rs to the falken grb f451s? They are the flagship falken tire I believe.

2 different tires. t1r is better performance, good wet/dry abilites, okay treadwear. since you want less road noise, good treadwear, and good wet/dry capabilites, go with the Falken ST-115.

^ one of my all time favorites. the handling is great and they're quieter than t1r's. they offer awesome clearance as well, and look sick if you're going for the stretch look.

^^^+1 I love my 451's but my St-115's were quieter. I have 6,000 miles on my 451's and they are wearing great!!

since you aint dropping it, and want to cover the gap up, go with the T1r's. they're fatties. 245/35 275/30.

i hate my t1-r's

they suck compaired to the t1-s's. i find myself spinning all the time. they seem to be made of a harder compound then the t1-s's even though they have the exact same rating 280/AA/A. i've talked to some other people that have had both sets and they feel the same way. the t1-r's also suck in the rain compaired to the t1-s's. they only thing that the t1-r's have going for them is that they are quieter then the t1-s's, other than that they suck!!

dont waste your money on the t1-r's. get something else

toyo's have a meaty sidewall. no, there is no 275/35 Falken GRB FK451 tire. only 285/35/19. FK451 is quieter than the T1R's. Falken ST115's are available in 275/30/19 highest. GRB in 20's are 255/35 / 285/30. ST115's are 245/35/20 / 275/35/20.

what brand are you planning to go with? if toyo's you'll be fine in terms of gap coverage. if Falken's, you may want to drop the car.
