Re: CANT TAKE THE BRAKE DUST ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am waiting for my Greenstuff to come in the mail. For now I have been using the satisfied pro ceramic pads and they have the same useless clip.

I think these pads are not designed for the G35. The box they came in are for 200SX, Maxima. They just happen to fit the G35. When they design brakes for the G they won't have this clip anymore.

are you sure that clip is the only incompatible part on that pad?

Re: CANT TAKE THE BRAKE DUST ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that clip that everyone is talking about is not on the brake pad it is on the pad retainers that are on are cars. the stock brake pads have a wear senser that has a loop that the so called clip goes into. what it is supposed to do is pull the pads away from the rotor while not braking. but i think it is useless because the pistons do not return in the calliper.

Re: CANT TAKE THE BRAKE DUST ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So it seems these pads are missing the wear sensor loop. I wonder why Infiniti would put this useless wear sensor and retainer to begin with. Hmmmm

the wear sensors actually do work when your pads are worn, they rub on the rotor and make an anoying sound, the retaining clip that puts back pressure on the pad still boggles my mind i have never seen that before and it is useless, or atleast i will feel that way until someone proves me wrong.

Go to www.tirerack.com, put your car info in and you can find the different brake pad options for your car.
