My Awesome OEM 18's I Bought from Ludacrish05
I just wanted to showoff my "the wheels are in great condition there are no curb dents or anything like that... the front tires are excellent and the rear is fine but is a lil worn down..." wheels.
Well, I finally got around to installing the OEM 18's that I purchased from ludacrish05 here on the board. Compared to the description I got from him I thought that maybe he sent me the OEM 18's out of the junk yard instead. For wheels that are in great condition, there is extreme damage to 3 of the 4 wheels. I'm not mad about the damaged rims but I am mad that he said they were in great condition with no "curb dents". It also makes me mad that for $200 more I could of bought a pristine set of extremely low mile rims and tires that were like new. The two driver's side rims have curb damage and the passenger side rear wheel has some kind of rust on the inside of all the spokes from lack of washing I'd guess. I've tried using wheel polish on them with no luck.
I know that sh*t happens sometimes and sometimes things can get misrepresented but I also expect people to do the right thing. I've emailed ludacrish05 just asking for some consideration and a small refund due to the krappy condition of the wheels and I got no response from him. I guess for the most part I'm just venting.

That sucks, I hope I do not have the same problem. I just bought a set of 19" M sport rims for my sedan from chaddw@riversideinfiniti.com. I think and hope everthing well go smooth. Will keep everyone posted.

Minimal at best I totally disagree with.. Minimal would be a small scratch on the finish. My problem is not that the wheels are damaged but that I was told they were in "great condition with no curb dents" and that is clearly not the case. The first rim has a 3 inch scratch on the spoke that's been touched up or something. The second rim has a 1 inch curb mark thru the finish on the wheel and a tire that wouldn't hold air pressure. The third rim has rust on the inside of each spoke opening.
For the $700 that I paid (not including shipping) I could of gotten a higher mileage set of rims that were actually in good condition without any curb damage or rust on a wheel. I think $500-$600 is the fair value of these wheels considering how banged up they are. My other point is that for $900 shipped I could of bought an immaculate set of rims and tires with less than 5K miles and in absolutely perfect condition.
I have looked into getting the wheels re-finished locally but they charge $100 per wheel. So that would be $400 not $200 and why after purchasing wheels that I was told were in "great condition with no curb dents" should I have to fork over another $400 to actually get them in excellent condition.
