thanks,
i was reading tirerack's articles, and ur right...
i think this is wut i will go with:
goodyear eagle f1 gs-d3
235/35/YR19
255/35/YR19
they r 2 km faster (on speedometer reading)
but they r a lot cheaper than 245/35/19, 275/35/19 which is only .2% off the speedometer..
i was looking at PS2.. but they r just way too expensive..

Go to Tire Rack and do a research - Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 will come as the winners - best traction, best ride quality - little noise or no noise- Thats a real Luxury ultra high performance tire. They come in the 2006 Porsche Carrera 4 as OE.
Also the highest price - uffffffffffff thats hurts.
MY G is TT so i want the best traction posible without been riding like a Monster Truck on the highway.

I just bought the GS-D3s last week, 255/35/19 and 275/35/19. They replaced the 245/35 and 275/35 Toyo T1-S tires that I had for only 13,000 miles (camber wasn't a friend). There hasn't been any rain here in Orlando for a few weeks, so I haven't been able to test them in the rain. The tire noise from the Goodyear's sound like I'm driving a Lexus, compared to the Toyo's. At the drag strip, the tires don't seem to hook any better than the Toyo's, but I was only able to test the Goodyear's the day I put them on the car. I'll have to put some miles on these tires first before I can give an accurate comparison.
Pics of the Toyo's:
1st pic is of the 275. 2nd pic is of the 245.

I have GS-D3s on my coupe now and I hate to tell you but you are in for a disappointment after about 5k miles. The tires were so quiet when I bought them but after just a little wear they transform into mud tires. They make horrendous noise that no alignment can fix. Also, I am not sure if its the compound of the tire or the roads I drive on but I have nails in 3 out of 4 tires! Its to the point now where I am going to get some A/Ss just to lose that noise! Its embarassing. Maybe its the wierd alignment issues since mine is an '03. Hope you have better luck than I have.

Yes I am serious. I have the stock rims (leave me alone, I like 'em) but went to a little bigger tire width (245 in front, 255 in rear). No suspension change at all. Minor cupping on inside edges but within standard alignment specs. Had it realigned twice and couldnt get rid of noise. Just for reference I have a Jeep with 35 inch Super Swampers (aggressive mud tire) so I am not a wuss with tire noise. Those GS-D3 mothers are LOUD! They make the stock Pilots seem like riding on clouds! Handle great though and simply amazing in rain!

I ran through a set of 225/55R17 GS-D3's on my '03 Sedan. Loved 'em. I didn't have any noise issues. I did cord all four of them in 14k miles, but that's with a heavy dose of autocross just about every month (maybe I wore them out too fast to notice any cupping?
). The grip was fantastic, even when wet. However, they don't like cold weather. When it got down in the 50's, they'd be a bit squirrelly until they warmed up. Any summer tire is going to be like that, though.
