eBay OEM 18's... kinda

Has anyone seen these on eBay and bought a set or know someone who has? Looking for a set of these for my '03 Sedan... I thought they were original equipment until I read a little closer.

Does this seem like a bad idea?

I did a quick search within this forum but didn't find any relevant posts.

Thanks
J.

You'd be better off getting a used set off someone on this forum. Those replica's suck, they're 18x7.5, the real OEM's are 18x8

I can't think of a worse idea. "Made in the same plant". Um yeah. So you just decide to make them 1/2" thinner??

I wouldn't touch these with a 10ft pole. Especially since REAL ones are about the same price.

LOL! Ya, they are a little dubious at best. I'm all for spending a 'little' more for the real deal however, I wonder whether I can find a set in decent shape. I had looked at one set for sale locally for $650 (good rubber on front, cooked on rear) but they appeared to have been recently used in an off road competition of some sort...

It's going to be far cheaper to find a nice good set w/ good tires than to buy these Fleabay knock offs and then buy tires. (even cheapo ones). Get a good set of used wheels with tires and you get the Michelin Pilots.

I've noticed it's hard to find a set in good condition nowdays. Seems people can't park
