New Super Rozzas

UPS finally delivered my Super Rozzas today. I was too impatient to wait, so I unpacked and mounted them immediately. I took some pretty good before and after pictures with my high resolution camera, but would you believe my cat pulled the camera off my desk and broke the USB cord off just as I was about to upload? Until I can get some better pictures, these so-so quality teasers will have to do. Aside from the camera incident, I'm very happy!!

they look good. i remember the 1st time i've seen them were on a LR coupe. which ones do you have? the 1st edition, or the new one? the labia's are supposed to be stainless steel. an 1 - 1.5" drop and you can call it hotter than hott.

Good question . . . I didn't know they made two versions. Is there a way to tell by looking?

BTW, I know I need a drop. I'm still trying to decide what kit to go with. I'm afraid to go too low because of the damn PA potholes, and I don't want to compromise the ride too much. I'm open to suggestions.

Lewisburg, PA -- home of the Bucknell Bison. Looks like you're in the Lancaster area. I'm about 100 miles northwest of you.

Stainless lips better? I think most people would agree they are. Rays 2-piece wheels have stainless lips, as are most of the premium wheels. Stainless is stronger, but it also weighs more. I don't have a problem with aluminum, but I am curious. I'm just **** enough that if I don't know for sure it will drive me crazy. When I find out (and I will find out), I'll let you know.

By the way, how are the cops down there with window tint? Simply can't do it up here. If you put it on, you will get pulled over, and you will have to have it removed. The police actually carry a light meter to measure the amount of light that makes it into the car.

OK, PIAA cleared this up for me. The 19" Super Rozzas were, and still are, all aluminum. The 20" wheels, which were released later, have an alumimum lip with a stainless steel cap. I guess that explains why the 20's weigh so much more.

Forget about window tint! A guy I work with told me his daughter just got yanked and has to remove it all and the worst part is she just got accepted to a school in Florida!!! The people that did her car said it was legal and the cops did the light meter test and told her to take the car back to the place but they went out of business!!
