so what do you think? say some 18x8.5 in the front and some 19x9.5 in the rear...you think that the fronts are too small and that would look funny? and what if i lowered the car, would it still look funny? u know this would make the front and rear sidewalls almost exact, so keep that in mind.

It does make a difference performance wise. Having a smaller diameter in the front should help you have less understeer. I did this on my 300ZXTT for autocross by placing 17s in front and wide 18s on the rear.

But it will look wierd. For a G35 that won't be on the track everyday I would keep with the same size rim diameter for the front and rear. Also going 19" rear and 18" front might not make a difference at all since you are upping the sizes. But it's your car so you can do whatever you want to it.

Now for rims, try to get the strongest (Forged) and lightest rim possible. Every 5lbs off your wheels give you almost .5 or more difference on the track.

What sucks is the lightest wheel don't always have the best looking styles.... Ray's, Kinesis, SSR, Watanabe, Advan, WORK, BBS all make great light weight and awesome looking rims, but the price is another story.

- Don't argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.=P-
