Lightest 18 inch wheels that you know of - chime in plz
I have had the hardest time getting wheel weights without e-mailing individual vendors about specific wheels.
I would love to get 19s or 20s but the tire choices are just too few. (I plan on keeping my stock 18s for the snow tires).
I like the deep rims and the mesh patterns, but G35_TX's thread got me thinking that performance is just as important...
The stock 18s weigh 24.51 lbs I have found through searching other threads. So let's start there. Post wheel model and specs (including weight obviously).
Posting a pic would be awesome too if you have it handy.
If you think you've found a 19 inch wheel that is really light and can perform on par with the 18s, then by all means feel free to post.

And here's another vendor's response for light wheels:
I think the best choice for you would be Motegi TrackLight:
http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/rt_wh...h&brand=Motegi
(this is our site as well)
Their 18s are just 18.5lbs !
We don't have correct size on the website yet,
so please give us a call to order:

[NOTE: I could not find 18" Motegi Tracklite wheels, even on the Motegi website - and I wanted 9.5" rim width in the rear - didn't seem to exist]

G35_TX - man I think you got everybody beat. I have yet to come across wheels under 17 lbs - and I was scouring the tirerack site - I thought I looked at each 18 incher! I went to tirerack again and it does not seem to match up these wheels with the OEM G35 specs even. I cannot even get it to show the available rim widths. What's up with that?
I do wish it had a lip or a more unique pattern - it does look good, just OEM-like. I might have to follow your lead, unless someone here posts a surprise...
