Cusco, Impul or Gialla suspension

Any thoughts on these? Cusco offers a variety of coil-overs ZERO-1 w/ Pillowball, ZERO-1 w/o Pillowball, ZERO-2 w/ Pillowball, and ZERO-2 w/o Pillowball. Impul's gotta coil-over set with a 20-way adjustable shock thats really expensive, like 3G's, and Gialla's just got a lowering spring which drops like 15-20mm's, this is what I'm interested in the most to know about, like ride quality, performance etc. any info is appreciated.

heres a link to all these...

Re: Cusco, Impul or Gialla suspension

Out of your list I'd only begin to trust the Cusco's. And between the 2 I'd never buy a coilover that did not have adjustable dampeners, so that would mean the Zero 2's. The non pillow ball mount version would of course just reuse the stock upper strut mount. You could always buy the pillow mount version and if you ran into any harshness/noise issue's just pull it and swap back in the stock upper mounts.

I have been interested about automotive suspensions for years and I spend allot of time trolling for info and reading owner experience's. I have noticed a pattern.

1. Tein has a loyal following of people that will come out and say basically that they feel Tein is the best coilover period. But most of the voices are not from owners, just people speaking a opinion. But make no mistake, if you scan the review on all the forums that deal with the Z and the G's, Tein owner reviews are very good.

2. If you plan on really pushing the car, handling wise, I have noticed that people that think likewise pick the Jic FLT-A2 coilovers as their weapon of choice. Currently, based on what I have read so far, I agree and I will be purchasing a set for my sedan, as soon as I can afford it.

3. HKS hypermax LS coilovers, (none adjustable dampeners, not to be confused with the HKS II coilover that does have adjustable dampener's) have the higher owner praise out of all the systems for ride comfort. In the same respect the owners of the HKS LS coilovers mention that the coilovers would not be a good choice for someone whom is after performance, pick another coilover system for that.

4. HKS Hypermax II with adjustable dampener. I have seen a member here or on my350Z.com that just got these, don't know if he's posted a review. I will say that these coilovers were on a tuner car that Car&Driver recently tested, they commented that they really liked the suspension.

5.. What about all the other's that no one owns or has done a owner review, are they any good? That's the hardest thing to answer. Cause someone has to take the risk of at least $1.5K to $2k to find out. I'm sure some of these other coilovers have some super stars. But in the absence of owner reviews*, it make's spending the money on one, a risky move IMO.

* Here's where I want to add to the point, I have never seen a owner review on any car, not just a Z or G for, Cusco and Veilside coilovers. But if I did a search on the net, I might find such review, I just haven't went out and looked on purpose.
