I currently have a set of 18x8.5 wheels with 35 offset. I also have a set of 245/40/18 tires on the wheels. Will they fit a g35 coupe? If changing the tires will make them fit better, what tires do you recommend?

 

I'm not an expert when it comes to offset, but that setup will look off. Put them on, and to see how it looks.

It depends on if you have the Brembo brakes. The offset is wrong for the front if you have Brembos.

they should fit with that width and offset as long as they're not going on a 6mt w/ brembos...and if your puting on the 245/40/18 for the front thats fine, thats almost the exact same diameter as stock but the rears should be 245/45/18 or 275/40/18 go to www.onlinetires.com they have a good selection good luck

Your good on the size, and the offset. However...not staggering the tire size front to rear will cause problems with both your VDC...(vehicle dynamic control) and your ABS systems. Typically...I recommend a 245-40-18 & 275-40-18 rear. The 275 is technically too big for an 8.5" rim..but it is possible and safe. The tire will bulge slightly in the rear
