So I'm driving to work today. It's a two lane road and it's quite busy in the morning; Downtown LA. So I'm In a bit of a hurry and I am a bit peeved because I hate traffic and I hate traffic. So I'm kind of passing and weaving through cars, but I'm signalling and doing the whole 9, so no real danger. I'm going and I'm passing this friken ugly A$$ green astrovan on her right. Right when I'm passing her, SHE STARTS COMING INTO MY LANE...she caught me in the perfect time where neither braking nor accelerating would make a difference. So I am caught with split second decision. Get hit by the car or scratch my rim again...DAMMIT another friken scratch on my rim. this time the right rear rim. the other time it was my front right rim. I started honking and i look at her and she friken waves me by??!?!?! wtf! is that. O MAN...too much stress. my heads gonna pop...well another job for me this weekend. This is a sign for me to just get new rims. Preferably volk TE-37 gunmetal.

 

anybody know a good repair shop for rims LA area, bc I am sick of sanding and painting my rims. It's fine for a temporary repair, but it just bothers me bc I know that it's still there and it wasnt fixed professionally.

 

Sorry to hear that man. I had a place fix my Work rims on my other car, did an ok job. Too bad I cant remember the place but it was in Hollywood.

Sorry to hear about the mishap...nice rims are hard to maintain here in LA, especially with all the crappy roads!!!!
