2003 coupe aftermarket stereo problem

recently i had the dreaded stereo/ climate control issue. So i got the Metra 99-7604b single/double din installation kit and jvc kd-x310bt head unit along with the Metra 70-7550 wire harness pack.I connect everything together following the instructions then plug it into my car. i now have full control over the climate controls again but the stereo still does not work. all of the fuses are good.In the car there are 2 plugs that i do not have anything connected to, along with the plugs that came in the above packs. the cable for the head unit has all the correct cables matched up except for the ground that i connect to the chassis and the blue and white antenna cable. on the metra kit i have a blue/white, black/white on one side not connected and a blue/white,orange/black on the other connector that i do not have anything running to. what am i doing wrong

What do you mean by "the cable for the head unit has all the correct cables matched up except for the ground that i connect to the chassis and the blue and white antenna cable"?

There's been literally hundreds who have followed the wiring diagram on the DDin guide - https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...urce-list.html - and had it work, so you've either got a bad connection, bad radio, or you didn't follow the guide properly.

on the metra 70-7550 i have a black wire with a strip of white on it. does that go to ground on the headunit harness looking at your guide now (this isnt what i originally used) i do not see that one on there.

Black w/white is the amp ground, it does nothing on non-bose G35s, it usually isn't part of the 70-7550. Your harness doesn't happen to have RCAs attached, does it?

The 70-7550 should look like this:
