Which coilovers should i go for?

I know theres many posts on this, but I feel like other people rant looking for what I am.

My price range is 1000 Max. preferably around 800-900

I am primarily concerned with ride smoothness, and I am looking to improve the quality, handling and smoothness of my ride. I am planning on lowering it, but nothing crazy, as smoothness ride quality is my first concern.

What would you recommend?

I was looking at Tein basics, BCs , and a few others.

However, I don't know how much of difference they're is between them with what I'm looking for. I want the most bang for my buck.

I would go with BCs over Tein Basics.

Exactly ^ Tein Basics don't have a very good reputation for a quality ride. Go to our Marketplace under vendor suspensions, check it out and give them a call. Ask the vendors what springs work best for the street on the BC coilovers...Gary

"They're" *Cringe*

You should trawl the marketplace for a good used set of stances IMO, or follow Gary's advice, he knows what he's talking about!

Which one did you go for? I'm leaning toward BC...I just got a message from another user that Tein Basics are a joke...handling sucks, damper doesn't adjust, and doesn't really go low...but I wouldn't know...

bc's are pretty comparable to teins. I wouldn't be surprised if they are worse in terms of actual function.

adjustable dampening is overrated.

low and handling do not go together. If you go more than like 1-2" lower, you can kiss your handling good bye.

Hellaflush is terrible for handling. Decide if you want form or function (function costs a crap ton more money) and go from there.

I really don't understand why hellaflush people don't just replace the shocks and springs with a solid metal bar. It's probably cheaper and suits your needs better since the wheel gap won't change on driving, acceleration, dive, squat, bumps, etc and you can go for your credit card fitment.

I enjoy reading your responses. I want to ask you a question. What do you think of FEAL 441 coilovers?

You mean other people who make this same post aren't looking for cheap coilovers? I think those other posts are looking for exactly what you are.

You don't really need coil overs if you're not going too low. But, it's your money
