It depends. The unrevised 03-04 rear Z springs are about a 1/2" shorter than the 03-07 G35 coupe rear spring. So running an unrevised Z spring will be slightly lower on the sedan than a G35 rear spring. So yes there is a difference....

however, when they revised the Z and G spring to the 427lb rate in 2005, the Z spring was lengthened to the same length as the G35 rear spring. Both the 2005+ Z and G35 coupe rear springs are essentially the same, so there wont be any gap difference if you go the revised route.

IMO the rear G35 coupe or revised Z rear spring looks the best and offers a more even and balanced look.

revised the Z and G spring to the 427lb rate in 2005
Make that 2004.5, just put on a set off my cousin's 2004 Z, they were red, red, purple.
Also, does anyone have any idea what the rate is on the fronts with a white dot and a green dot??? They are from a coupe and had the same revised z springs in the back.

hey guys, im guessing since this thread is 13 pages long, my question has probably been answered but i cant look through all of them and i am still somewhat of a noob so id like your guys opinions:
I have a 2003.5 sedan w/ sport suspension, should i just go with 03/04 z springs for a simple 1" drop that will also help decently with cornering/handling without making it an uncomfortable ride??
All help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

I have a 2006 X, and I wanted a confirmation about this...I've reading all these threads and I'm still kinda confused. I'm thinking about buying a set of 2004 Z springs (unrevised) for the front, and G coupe springs for the rear from a local member here tomorrow.

Would this setup work until I get a chance to purchase new shocks and struts? I plan on replacing the entire suspension around January, and I wanted to make sure I'll be ok till then.

EDIT: Nevermind....got the answer!

I guess if all you want is drop, then do either. I've only used the revised springs, so I don't really have a frame of referance other than stock, but I've read on here the unrevised ones are more bouncy.

Since you have the sedan sport suspension you should be able to use the "unrevised" Z springs since they have the same spring rate as your struts. See the blurb below from the following sticky that has been a big help for me and many on the forum. You may also want to consider getting the full "revised" Z suspension (springs and struts) - depending on how much you want to spend.

https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...w-updates.html

Oem linear springs
G35 coupes with oem 17’s & 18’s
G35 sedan’s with sport suspension
350Z’s 2003/2004 (unrevised)
Front:314 Rear:342

Hope it all works out for you!

Hey guys.... I guess I get this whole gz drop but I was wondering about the pro kit from eibach... Can I run that on my stock struts? or shocks? If not what about with the z struts or shocks? Whatever they are.. Am not sure... 04 g35 sedan I think I have the sport suspension...Thanks
