I already have my phone rooted so I just tether from there when I need internet, works great. and yes you're right...having the tablet sit back a bit would make it MUCH easier for the cables (charger/3.5mm) I had to trim a lot of the dash pieces to just barely have enough room for it to fit. Even had to trim the headphone jack connector and take the charger out of it plastic housing...but hey it fits

Also big thanks to you for the double din FAQ thread, helped me out a lot when I was doing my research. I have found the PAC ROEM-NIS2 just simply does not provide enough pre-amp voltage to the stock bose amp when coming from a headphone jack in the tablet. I tried everything I could from the tablet with audio apps and EQ settings and was only able to achieve volume levels which compare to about a 14 on the stock stereo.

So now I will be adding a Clarion EQS746 which bumps the pre-amp voltage to 7v, allows aux input, sub woofer out with separate pre-amp adjustment and of course EQ control. Only downside is the lame blue lighting and now I need to find out where the hell to mount it lol.

The power cord and audio are your biggest issues as far as fitment..
You maybe able to find a 3.55MM to RCA with a 90º on the headphone side.
The power cord is usually some what bulky so that would be the biggest issue.
This should solve one of the issues:

You'd no longer need to run an audio cable to your amp.

Galaxy TAB - A2DP Bluetooth Out > A2DP Bluetooth Receiver > Ipod input on Amp

High Quality audio streamed directly to your amp. Playback stops when you turn off car, resumes when you turn it back on. Doesn't get any better than this
