03 coupe p1769 question
Hey everyone,
So i was driving my 03 g35 coupe down the freeway... i saw white smoke coming from engine... and when i tried to pull off the freeway, i would try to gas it.. and the RPMs just revved, but car didnt go anywhere (no i wasnt in neutral lol) so when i stopped, the check engine light came on.. i checked the code and came back as p1769 (high and low reverse clutch solenoid valve). now a couple things happened once i stopped the car:
1. there was oil all over the ground (i got my oil changed two days ago so i figured they just didnt tighten the filter down enough) however, there was also oil that covered my back bumper and trunk due to the cause of it blowing out of my exhaust. What does that mean??
2. when i was on flat ground, if i revved the car to 4k the car would start to inch along, but wouldnt pick up any momentum and the second i hit any level of incline the car would start rolling back, no matter how high i revved. is my transmission blown or just replace the solenoid valve??
i know this may be confusing so if anyone wants clarification on anything, please ask, really need some advice other than just "take it to a shop"
thanks =)
