Actually, I believe you are suppose to sand the clear then re clear with a thinner layer, then use some clear coat polish.

don't think you can sand plasti dip at all, because it would just rip. Haven't tried it personally though.

QTF.. did a quick search of it and the popular consensus is that if you try to sand it; it will rip.

Just be careful on spraying than.

People ALWAYS spray too close and it will be runny and ****.

I really want to see how it ends up peeling off.

You could always wet sand that clear a little to get rid of the brutal orange peel.

Guess u just use light coats then so it doesn't look crappy since u can't sand it..

Gotcha, yea the texture that I've seen it. I doubt it would stand up to anything more aggressive than a 000 steel wool.
