Is it just me or does the coupe have bad blind spots?

Maybe i'm not use to driving a coupe from a sedan but seems like our cars have a crazy blind spot, i always check the little small window before changing lanes, but today i'm pretty sure i checked and was going to change lanes to the sound of a horn........ i almost cut a guy off pretty badly..... not sure if he was speeding up or what.......

anyhow even before this, i always felt i wasn't 100% sure if there was a car in my blind spot or not even when checking.....

The only other cars i drive besides the G are SUV's and i think that they have worse blindspots than our cars.

I completely agree. I'm little, so I have to do the retard sit up high, turn my entire upper body thing.
It ruins the cool factor.

just lean forward and look in the mirror to cover that blind spot.

You get used to it. Make sure to look over your shoulder before changing lanes, especially when going into the left lanes!

I think that area i circled is the problem with checking your blindspot and make's it harder to see if a car is next to you or not.

+1 . . . That is what I usually do, when in doubt.

Edit: It may not look too becoming on our cars, but I have one of those unsightly round 'blind spot' mirrors on the driver's side view mirror. Personally, I find this mirror affords a certain comfortability/safety factor.

Rear visibility in general in this car is pretty bad. I've sdriven worse though, but never actually owned a car prior to this with such bad rear visibility.

Try driving on the highway with no sideview mirror on your G.... that's a hella pain in the ***. I had to do that for a week or 2 at one point.... not fun on the highway!

I don't have any problems, but my previous Corvette was real bad so I'm happy with the G.
