Question Larger Blower Upgrade For Stillen On It's Way?

Ok there are some rumors going around that Stillen is working on a larger blower upgrade for the G/Z kit and it will be out near the end of the year. The rumor is that it will be an upgrade to the existing kit and the hood will still work.

Does anyone have any more info on it?

Pricing?
Power?

Yeah please do. See if he will give you any kind of an idea of the price and if they will offer a trade in for the Stage 4 guys that still want a little more.

I was about to go TT but I want to wait and see what kind of money this upgrade is going to run.

Thanks!

No problems!! I am kind of interested myself in what the upgrade entails and whether there is any trade up policy. I will try to quiz him more about it and we'll see if he gives up more info.

Most of the other kits come with new injectors. I don't see why the Stillen didn't from the start. They were obviously trying to keep the price down but the price is not cheap now!

I think keeping those injectors in place was solely for CARB approval. I don't think there was anyway around it. Unfortunately for us people out in CA, we run the risk of getting our cars impounded or having to get everything taken off of it that is not "LEGAL". It's really a pain!!

i dont think it will make a difference with the injectors for emissions,a supercharger is much easier to get past the test then a turbo is.thats pretty much why you dont see any turbos carb certified.at least out here in md we dont have to worry ....yet.

Injectors were for CARB. You can't pass CARB if you replace the injectors, but you can add additional ones.

I wonder if it will still maintain the warranty?

It will not maintain the warranty. The only one that has it is stage 2. Anyone above that has lost it already.
