Disabling daytime running lights
In case anyone is interested, there is a simple way of disabling the daytime running lights (drl) on Canadian G35s. It's the same method as used on Sentras (http://www.gtasentra.net/howto/drlrewire.html) but our DLCUs are located under the hood.
The Parking Brake Switch wire on a 2005 G35 sedan is Purple with Red stripes vs the Light Green on the Sentra.

^+4, i've yet to hear a good reason to do disable DRLs, sometimes i wish the rear lights were on too.
only people i knew who had a reason to have no light paid for it... ended up in a ditch running from the cops... and their reason was pretty pathetic: didn't want to get caught smashing mailboxes. oh the joys of highschool in the country...
i think i'll be smart and leave mine the way they are.

A ninja would not use DRLs! Most ninjas also wear clip on neck ties so that they can't be choked... ninjas that wear neck ties that is.
I find it interesting that DRLs aren't a standard down in the USofA. Then again look at how long it took for seatbelts to be required and even then they aren't worn in TV shows and movies!
