Aftermarket TPMS recommendations ?

Question to all my fellow G owners . Does anyone have any recommendations on after market TPMS sensors ? Would like to hear some reviews.

Sorry, I don't have any recommendation for you, as I haven't had to replace any yet. However, I just thought it might help to clarify whether you're just looking at replacing the stock sensors alone, or the system as a whole.

^ whs, if looking to replace the entire then look into Orange Electronics TPMS Kit which is pretty cheap and comes with its own little monitor screen that helps you track exact temps and PSI in each tire.

I just need some reliable tpms sensor that will pair with the ride and have no problems for some extra wheels I have . I don't want to swap tpms to the new wheels from my stock set .

I have another question, is it going to be an issue to have mismatched tpms sensors? Three of my tires will have the original tpms sensor from infiniti and one will have a vdc sensor. As long as i get everything callibrated, considering that VDC one is made for my specific make and model, will everything be okay? Im tired of having this tire sensor light on on my dash.

Infiniti TPMS all the same?

Hi, I gave up my stock rims long ago. I have TPMS from an 1st gen M45. Does anyone know if that will work?

I have the VDO SE10004A tpms kit from amazon, no issues for about a year now. It worked when I had a flat tire so it did it's purpose. Easily programmable by any tire shop too.

Batteries are probably dead by now. They only last 5 to 10 years. I think any 315/314.9 MHz sensor will work. You can program yourself, or any decent tire shop will program them as a courtesy service.

I realize this was asked in 2013, but people are actually searching for answers. The only issue you would have by replacing just 3 sensors is that the battery life of the OEM won't be on the same timeline. Basically will end up having to replace that one sensor, possibly before the tires are in need of replacement.

I went to eBay, bought a set that showed they were for Nissan/Infiniti products and had them installed...easy stuff!

bump.. guess i will try ebay or dealer for generic nissan sensors... 2003-2008 nissan infiniti all the same system?

This isn't brain surgery Nissan '03 thru '07 TPMS find a set at a reasonable price and have them installed by your local tire shop. No, you don't want to buy them from the Stealership unless you love throwing your $$ away!

If you are a Sam's Club member, at least at the local store I called a few days ago, their TPMS sensor (unknown brand, sorry) prices are $42/wheel (installed). I don't know for certain if that includes "programming" them but that charge is a flat fee of $19.

I found the VDO sensors for G35s on Amazon for $31/each or $52 for a 2-pack and asked if they would install sensors that I provide and they will. They charge $5/wheel in this case. Yes, five dollars per wheel. I'm quite certain the $19 fee for programming will be on top of that $5 charge. You're only out $143 if you go this route though (for 4 wheels). You could save that $19 and reset it yourself too.

I am having good luck with the Vdo sensors so far. Going on 3 months with no issue. Dealer programmed. Cost me about $180 OOP for sensors (104) and install (80).

Hi there. Recently bought 06 G35 coupe. Rims had no original sensors so ordered VDO/Redi SE10001HP sensors. Installed, tried to reset as described by setting different pressure to wheels and starting relearn via TPMS service connector. No luck. Went to a mechanic eventually. His five-year old TPMS scan tool does not see/can not activate these sensors. When he touches the wheel with the tool, it sees nothing. Question - has anybody installed SE10001HP and have they worked?
