I got that number off of http://www.infinitinews.com/ but I think they made a booboo. I looked up the Brembos on the 350Z and this is the number for the rear which is more believable.

Rear: 12.68” x 0.87” Vented disc, 2 caliper pistons

Good catch.

if we stuck everything on this board, u will have to go to the 2nd page jus too see new post..

I dun think we need 2 pictures page, jus incorporate both...

if people would post pics of their wheels, wa it is, price and offset, we wouldn't have so much clutter..

I didn't ask for this thread to be stuck in the 1st place. But since it was stuck, I asked that people post sticky material. I just guessed that was the purpose of the thread (as no one explained why it was stuck). So since we all contributed great threads about various subjects, a moderator might as well use the information provided to organize a "modifications" sticky. One that was hopefully organized in sections for easy navigation.

G35X spring rate information. https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/95880-x-spring-rates-finally-known.html
FYI .. GSedan35 tested my OEM 05 ' x springs ... Rates are F/R .. 283/355

So for sedans ....

Sedan
2003 - 2006 - G35 sedan sport suspension spring rates - 314/3422003 - 2006 - G35 sedan non sport spring rates - 283/308
2004 - 2006 - G35x spring rates - 283/355
... as you can see the X has stiffer rear springs than any RWD sedan, but, same front rate as non sport RWD Sedan.

Also coupe springs fit the G35x. Information here

I've seen a few more great threads that could be stickied. List them here and maybe a mod will get a clue and sticky some real threads vs a bunch of picture ones.

Tell us how you really feel Jeff

I am working on a thread to hopefully become a sticky. Nothing to exciting or technical just something to help answer alot of the questions that seem to get asked on here on a daily/weekly basis.

Trying to get it done asap but not having alot of time after work. Hopefully before Xmas

You don't run this site, so please stop trying to tell the mods what to do. Let them run the site.

Read. I'm asking, not telling:

For this section, it would be nice to have oem fitment springs/shocks interchange sticky (ie.. from the coupe/350z) with the spring color dots, spring rates, years, amount of drop etc..

I'd REALLY like to see a oem brake interchange sticky. Especially me having a 2003 and the changes in 05/X/06.

One for wheel fitment would also be great. Sedan specific.

maxima.org has done a great job with their stickies. Just telling people to search is BS imho. I'd even offer to help write some. I'd done plenty for the maxima. But I'm not up to speed yet to do so.

Bascily, I've resorted to begging some of the gurus in their respective expertise for information. But how long will these guys be willing to write the same stuff over and over?

I've suscribed to threads that have good info in them. But again, for a thread with 40 replies, only maybe 8 of them hold any real value.

Making a thread sticky is a simple thing to do. I have stickied every thread that asked for it. But we don't want to sticky a shocks/springs thread in the sedan forum, it belongs in brakes and suspension forum. Ask and you will receive.

Cool. IMHO only. Some technical threads belong on the sedan forum too. ie... G35X suspension stuff. Just a thought.

What we need is a Garage. A seperate section all by itself called Garage. Like at Acurazine.com see link.

http://tl.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84834

It's actually one stickied topic that links to all the other topics in the forum system. Pretty neat idea.

Cool. But there are more than just brake and suspension links here. ie.. one clock and one rattle exorcism.

What we really need is not just threads stickied. But one thread that has links to different areas for us sedan guys. I think it's okay to "double" stick some ie.. in sedan and brake/suspension sections as long as it points to the same info.
ie.. shocks/springs as it pertains to the sedan / wheel fitment as it pertains to the sedan. Sedan AWD specific info for shocks/springs/exhaust/wheels etc.. Engine mods aren't that critical but it would be nice to have type I guys notified that a certain ecu mods won't work etc....
