ARC Front Strut Bar...help?

So i looked at both the VRT and ARC front strut bars and i see that the ARC is more money, but i have also heard that ARC is quality material as well as VRT.

I searched around the forum for a while and couldnt really find anything about the ARC front strut bar.....I def like the looks of the ARC more than the VRT, but im interested to know if anyone knows if the ARC will clear with the 5/16 spacer?

The pictures of the ARC seem to show a little bit of room between the manifold and the actually bar but i want to be sure....

Any information would be great

thanks.

I breifly looked into this too, and never got a solid answer. Of course the VRT guys said that it wouldnt fit. Actually, they said that they're "pretty" sure it wouldnt fit... but they werent really 100% sure. Honestly, I think it will fit with a 5/16 spacer with the engine cover removed. If you look at how much the cover adds, I think its more than 5/16 of an inch. The foam padding underneath is actually pretty thick! If I knew where I could get my hands on one, I'd test fit it to check for sure... but I dont. I'd actually prefer the ARC too... because of the material, the design, and if I got the VRT, I'd have to move around my other mods and custom mount them in other places just to fit the VRT. Look in the suspension forum. Theres more info there (not much though).

www.mynismo.com has them on their site. I contacted them last week and they said they haven't been released for sale yet. So until there actually is a piece of hardware in someones hands, I don't think that anyone can answer this.

They are for sale. I was lucky to secure 1/2 that they got in stock. The wait is 45 days now.

I just got it installed today. I dont havef any spacer. the Bar is adjusted all the way down though so it wont hit the heat shield. What i noticed off the bat was that the wheels stick to the ground more when you full throttle off the line. Ive done mostly straight line driving today, so Ill report more later.

You got the ARC strut tower bar? Okay, I have a few questions. How much room do you have from the bar to the engine cover? How much room do you have from the bar to the actual plenum with the engine cover removed? I really want to know if the ARC strut tower bar will work with 5/16 spacers!

Ive been working alot. Pics wouldnt help because my installer has adjusted the bar all the way down so it won't hit the roof. It may fit the spacer but you couldn't fit the cover on top of the spacer.
