Regardless how much is spent on products, it's more important to learn about the proper process and techniques than to keep putting money into new products. Once you understand the process and your techniques are refined, it's very fun to try new products. I think most detailers eventually settle into their "favorites" but I still find it enjoyable trying new products out.

Well put George!

As for me, I've spent about $700-$800 in the last year or so on detailing supplies. One of the next things I want to get is a big halogen lamp.

I think people are still going get Pc and Udm. Because the price is still cheaper the the flex.

I agree but if they were to do a side by side comparo i dont think anyone would go the pc/udm route.And i do admit that i like the pc but it takes way to long to get the paint in perfect shape(which it has a hard time doing) and when you do all you feel is the shaking and tingeling in your hands.

I drop about 50-75 everymonth, but already have the basics like compressor, buffer, and so on.
