I believe the peak HP was 274 with FI, 275 with the Motordyne. There were little/no peak gains, but noticeable low-end improvements. These numbers are from a Dynapack dyno, so they'll read a bit higher than other chassis dynos.

I'm not a big fan of peak hp - mean trq avg beats peak hp usually (at least my car does at the track).

I guess we'll wait for the dyno chart to detail where the gains are.

If anyone knows how to make the images appear as thumbnails, PLEASE let me know. Thanks!!!

The Detailed Write-up:

Intake/Exhaust set-up (tint and suspension excluded):
-Stillen intake
-Z tube
-Motordyne 5/16" spacer
-Motordyne MREV2 lower plenum
Previous Exhaust: Fast Intentions Intimidator Exhaust
New Exhaust: Motordyne Gamma Dual

Reason for switching: Modding ADD

Build Quality: Both exhaust systems are top notch in build quality, and fit up quite easily. The Motordyne favors V-band clamps where possible, while the Fast Intentions uses flanges. The clamps do allow rotation to be factored into the adjustability, but again, I had no issues with the fitment of either. All the welds appeared solid and clean.

The Looks: The exhaust looks very similar to the HKS exhaust, sans the resonating chambers on each muffler. The tips stick out from the car noticeably more than the FI exhaust, and do allow for adjustability. I will see if i can get the tips tucked a little further into the bumper, like my FI was.

The Sound: This exhaust sounds surprisingly similar to the Fast Intention, but a little bit louder, and with some mild high pitch overtones. I'm getting reasonable cabin drone from about 2000-2800 rpm, which I'm hoping will go away once the exhaust is broken in. I should have over 1000 miles on it by next weekend, so I'll try to report back on this item. If the drone doesn't go away, the next plan of attack is to swap in a resonator behind the Y-pipe.

The Performance: Before we slapped the car back on the dyno, we took a quick spin around to make sure all was well. I noticed that the car was a little smoother coming off idle, but otherwise performed very similarly to the FI. The dyno plots (below) confirmed that I had gained back some low-end torque (likely due to the Y-pipe configuration), and made very slight gains over the majority of the powerband. After driving the car for a couple days, the torque is still noticeable, but I'd say the butt dyno reads about the same everywhere else as the FI exhaust.

Dyno Type: Dynapack
# of Runs: 6 pulls with each system (4th gear)
Ambient temperature for FI dyno: 59 degrees
Ambient temperature for Motordyne dyno: 57 degrees

These graphs show each successive run for BOTH exhausts (i.e., Graph 1 shows both the FI and Motordyne 1st pulls). Please let me know if you'd like to see the graphs in another format, and I'll do my best to get them up:

so to clarify, you are running the XYZ pipe with straight through or resonated?

XYZ pipe with the straight extension (this is where the resonator would go, if I choose to put it in later), through dual stainless mufflers. This is the "default" Gamma Dual system, I believe.

As the exhaust continues to break in, I'm hearing a bit of the in-cabin bass notes go away, which highlight some of the higher pitched tones. It still sounds much closer to the FI exhaust than any others I've heard.

Many have shipped out for dyno comparisons and sound clips. It may take a while for it to trickle in though.
