NEW Motordyne Exhaust, Titanium and Dual Setups!

note: 56k beware

Tony from Motordyne and I have been playing around lately, and wanted to pust up the new setups he's offering for the 350Z (and G35 coupe).

While my car was up in the air here at Riverside Infiniti, we test fit these sample shots for you all:

1) Straight Pipe Dual Design w/Titanium Tips

2) Polished twin muffler setup w/titnaium tips:

3) Titanium twin canister setup (let drooling commence)(sorry for any confusion, this is a titanium rear section only, the mid pipe and XYZ are still stainless).

The three above setups are modular, and you can exchange the setups, while keeping the same XYZ and mid pipes.
Here are pics of the rest of the setup:

MD logo, custom made mufflers, not off the shelf parts:

Now, something we found out on my car:
I have the GT spec Rear Lower Tie Brace installed. With how the mufflers are situated on both setups other than the straight pipe design, the muffler will hit the flange of the GT spec bar. The bar cannot be used with these setups unless you want to shim your exhaust down from the rear-most muffler hanger a tad bit.

Some new shots of my Titanium Single exit setup from a photo shoot we did this past weekend:

Sales note:
(All parts should be ready for sale from Motodyne Direct to begin with, contact HYDRAZINE for more details on prelim pricing and availability)

If you're local and want to see the exhaust in person, swing by our dealership in Riverside we will have the Titanium version on display along with any other Motordyne products you may be interested in. )

Nice exhaust. Dude, what is that gold stuff? I've never seen that before. It looks like the stuff the lunar lander was wrapped in.

looks good!! I have the VQ exhaust and love it. The TI matches your car you can bolt it up for shows to earn some points maybe.

How does it sound?

I imagine that gold foil is to deter heat. Have seen that in engine bays and around turbos-dunno about undercarriage though.

Thanks for the comments guys.
The gold foil is heat wrap for fuel cells. Honestly it's there really for more show than anything, but it is actually installed on the OEM heat panel locations, so everywhere you see it, it's already a heat shield location. Just now it's a Better heat shield...
Yeah after taking a few of the pics, I kinda thought it looked like a spacecraft or something too hehe

Driving the car today a little, the STRAIGHT setup has a really deep sound to it, no whine or drone, and as you climb in RPMS, it gets a bit more exotic. All in all I like it, although it is not as loud as my old JIC non res setup hehe. That was just a beast...

As soon as I finish up a few other projects, sound clips and vids will be posted, of both the titanium twin muffler setup and the straight pipes.

Currently just FYI, I have stock cats, XYZ straight, and the straight twin setup exhaust.

The VQ also sounds GREAT I have to admit.

But me being supercharged changes how the overall sound is VS an NA car, I expect these setups to sound Beautiful on an NA car with or with out test pipes
