Guess I'll just just take the thing off. I'll probably need more room for the new larger mufflers anyways. Will they be ready soon?

Well I just finished removing that small piece of heat shield. While I was under the car I noticed that it wasn't the heat shield that's causing the rattling, the exhaust is hitting my stock sway bar, lol. Guess I'll just live with it until I get the new axleback .

Losen up the V-band clamps on that tube. Rotate it counter clockwise about 15'-20', tighten the clamps back down and that should fix it.

Thanks, but I don't have any ramps and stuff to get my car higher. I don't really feel comfortable getting that far under my car with just the oem jack lol. Maybe I'll invest in some ramps and stands....

Dang...I haven't checked this thread for along time and it became a mega-page thread. Where are we now? Mars?

Here is some clips from my350z.com. I'm not sure if it has been posted before but that MD exhaust sound is just so sexy.

i'd have to imagine that motordyne's new kind of resonanted test pipes will sell really well on here.

i would have already bought test pipes by now if i didn't know that the MD version is going to be different somehow...would love to know whats different about these pipes vs the rest....

Although I am doing my own evaluation, I will be sending out the first set for independent dynos and sound quality evaluation.

It will be fun.

Someone test and dyno them! Depending on how they sound I might have to switch out my HFCs . If they're too loud, maybe I can just combine it with a quieter axleback hmm.....

ok so I officially hate MOTORDYNE... I just bought test pipes like 2 weeks ago and I read the updates on this thread and Motordyne is coming out with a TP and already owning the spacer and XYZ pipe I know that the TP is going to be top notch and probably add more whp then the TP I already have so I will have to get back under the car and take off my Invidia TP and put on motordyne's. So thanks for making the best bolt-on performance for our cars

^^^ I understand the tongue-in-cheek of your post... however, MD Test Pipes have been in the works for quite a long time... it's been mentioned a bunch in various threads for a long time - so it shouldn't be any surprise to you.

Can't wait for these test pipes. Glad their close to being ready. Depending on how loud they are. Might have to switch from my shockwave back to the gamma.
