Valve ticking
I had already bought a can of it, thats why i posted a thread about it. I already used it on my Toyota pickup and had no problems doing so.How are you going to tell me i havent used it yet? Did you come over to my house and walk into my garage and see a full can of unused seafoam?
Why the fvck do you all of a sudden care so much about what I am doing? Fvcking troll.

he's just getting frustrated because I keep calling him on things like asking about a product in one thread - and then recommending it in another thread 6 hours later... or because he tells people if they have cams and full exhaust they will reach 300+ hp... or that nismo and cosworth cams are the only ones to consider... or that oil vapor blow by is needed to lubricate "upper cylinders"... and now that valve tick is normal (without even hearing the OPs car) - excessive valve tick is not normal and can definitely be a sign that lash is loose - but without hearing it and isolating it, how can you diagnose it?
The guy is going to steer a lot of people the wrong way.

1) I had already bought the product, then used it. Then reccomended it to G35 Mass. So i dont know what tandem your going off of.
2) 300 hp is def obtainable with full exhaust and a tune with cams. Big deal if I prefer coswroth or nismo, its no reason for you to get your panties in a wad over it because its not what you have.
3) I never said blow by is needed for upper cyl lubricant

We can let the readers find out what a douche you are and your failed attempts to make me look bad. Your just making **** up in hopes people will go straight to the end of this thread and read your post.
Try the seafoam. Pour about 1/3 of a bottle in your crank case. It will quiet lifter noise if thats what it is. I adjusted the valves once i did the head on my truck and i had a little tapping. I need to drive it atleast 500 miles before i do the second adjustment but for now the seafoam has quieted the rocker noise.
then read post # 2 in this thread (note the date and time of each post)
your crazy comment starts on post #6 – this isn’t even the thread that you instead nismo or Cosworth are the only cams to consider – that one is here:

and to top it all off - here's a great post of yours:
that was determined yrs ago to loose power for NA (boatloads of threads about it and I’ve seen it twice on dynos when Kinetix first came out with it) - FI has seen small hit & miss gains though... I'm pretty sure you arent FI.
Damn all that research and you still havent proved anything. Quoting everything ive said within the past few days and you still call bs
I can do the same the and quote you as well and call BS. Doesnt mean it is, but if i feel like pulling **** out of my *** I could say the same thing about you and also how you throw a fit if you dont get your daily reach around. Your the only one on here thats so upset about my difference in opinion. Because its not shared or viewed by yours, your painties are so far up your t w a t. You said you wernt going to argue anymore. Are you not a man of your word? Do you need a band-aid for that cut between your legs
Once again, your the ONLY one who seems to think otherwise. Im still here, we can go in circles all day long

Luckily there is nothing in SeaFoam that can cause damage [unlike some other oil additives]................pale light oil, rubbing isopropyl alcohol, and naptha........mostly light oil.
The semisolid lifters use 24 shims to set lash so a proper method is to measure lash and measure shims both hot and cols and select new shims from the ~ 50 different sizes to make up for cam, valve seat, or valve stem head wear.
Normally one just learns to ignore the wear and noise.
