FS: HKS GT and Mastergrade CF engine covers!!!
HKS GT and Mastergrade CF engine covers!!!
OK.. I'm selling two very rare covers one being for a G35(Mastergrade). First the HKS, this thing is probably the rarest item that can be had for the 350z platform hands down. I have 2 and I'm deciding to make someone very very happy by selling one of them. It has light scuffs but no cracks and could use a re-clear to be show worthy. It's a drop in cover for those who have a HKS GT or HKS Supercharger kit, no cutting or modding required. MSRP on this was $1500.00+ from HKS Japan but obviously I didn't pay that much... I'm looking for a very conservative $550.00 shipped and thats FIRM. The only other known unit in the US is on the HKS supercharged FX35 and I have the other two.

Engine bay shots... this particular cover is not for sale but it's the same minus the HKS badge.

Next is a very very rare G35 Mastergrade engine cover... it has a 1" crack on the lower left and is still in very good condition. I'm letting this go for $300.00 shipped. I was informed that this is being sold by ShowStoppers for 210.00 but that hasn't been confirmed, when it is the price will be adjusted. I'm not a G guy so any insight on this particular cover would be much appreciated... good or bad just PM me.

I'll be out of town from Feb 20th to Feb 24th so the earliest I'll ship is Feb 25. I'm very active on the Z site and a couple of the G guys here can vouch for me. I have 50 positive(0 negative) iTrader transactions so buy with confidence.

The HKS GT engine cover you have for sale looks different from other pictures of it, for example shown here:

The other one has the "GT Supercharger" logo, the HKS logo looks like a logo rather than a badge, the placement on the logo appears to be higher up on the cover, and it looks more like dry carbon fiber....
Just pointing out differences that I can see. Could you explain the discrepancies? Thanks

Sent you a PM on MY350z.com
HKS Kansai was the division that actually produced them so variances in the stickers/badges are negligible. Being that I have 2 of the 3 that made it stateside(3rd being on the HKSUSA FX35) I can compare them both. These were made for the prototype cars so there are tiny differences between the two that I have. When I tried getting one through Nengun, they told me that their's less than 10 worldwide and they confirmed only 3 made it to the US. No one has been able to replicate it because no one has one to replicate. Dry carbon doesn't have to be matte... The one pictured has luster as you can see the reflection of the dipstick on the cover itself. I tried looking up the "GT Supercharger" decal and it has never existed for sale... ever. The one's that have the cool decals were press cars only... which is a major bummer because all I can do replicate one and being that you know my car well, it's just in me to do it. These type of parts are kinda weird because no real info is out there on them unless you know the person you got it from. My HKS/Endless BBK set up very similar in nature... no information on the pads is available and never was it available. I deduced that they're 6-pot Standard (Racing, Standard, Mini and Mono's are the only options) model based only on pictures. It's been said that only TWO sets exist so I have no idea. Hope this clears something up for you and anyone who's interested.
