I'm a little confused with how it calculates how many posts a user has. It shows me at 160 posts (which is obviously not the case). Is it based on how many posts we've had since the system was first implemented/tested?

yes, there are some strange issues with our caching setup that's preventing the bars from appearing properly. we're working through the issue.
