FS: Silvia Parts Replica Grill for G35 Coupe

I purchased my SP grill and am a bit unhappy with the fact that I had to drill it and stretch the grill to make it fit. I'm being charged $40 for a return fee so I am checking to see if anyone wants it here in the U.S. It's unpainted and I smoothed out the center support beam with bondo. Will ship out tomorrow if you want it. I'll post pics later tonight of my test fitment.

$180 retail - $40 return fee = $140

I'll sell it for $130 shipped in the contiguous U.S. Let me know!

Here's some pics of the grill when I got it in for a test fitment. Remember, this is not drilled yet and I have not used any double sided 3M tape to attach the bottom to the bumper. If there was pressure on the top and bottom, the grill will cover the gap and fit flush.

The pinkish area in the middle is where I used bondo to smooth it out. The grill is not seen in the pics but will be included. Also, I painted my radiator black in case it looks different to you.

Let me know if you're interested!

You mentioned the double sided tape on the bottom... Does this grille also have "fingers" like the OEM that slides into the bumper on the underside of the grille?

thanks!

No, the grill attaches via the 4 plastic rivets at the top of the grill and will require some 3M double sided tape to attach the bottom to the bumper.

This will be the case for all aftermarket grills, I think. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks for your interest!

I wish I had taken a pic of the grill when I was putting gentle pressure on the top and the bottom. When that is done, the grill fits flush, symmetrical, and looks good.

Shoot...

The Data System grille has the fingers to attach along the bottom. I was hoping this would as well so I could interchange the grilles easily... One for show, one for go...

That sux... Ok thanks though...

Hmmmm... I thought there would be more interest...

OK. New shipped price to the contiguous U.S.

$125!!

Let me know if you're interested. I'm not really too excited about shipping this all the way to Hong Kong, waiting 2 weeks to clear customs, and then finally get my credit card credited...

Thanks Triji.

Funny thing is, I've got a lot of inquiries but no takers. I guess I'll wait until the end of the week and then ship it back to Hong Kong if no one snatches it up.
