FS: DG 06 Sport front bumper with minor damage / Single 06 headlight

I'm going to be replacing the front bumper of my coupe and I'll have my existing one available with some damage to the driver's side corner. It was hit in a parking lot by another driver who wasn't kind enough to leave his information, so I'm hoping selling this part might help me absorb some of the cost of my deductable. Pictures of the bumper are below- I don't yet know what is a fair price to ask for the bumper in this condition, so I was hoping I could see if anyone was interested and go from there.

Additionally, I will be replacing my driver's side headlight, and I was curious if I were to buy a pair if anyone would be interested in purchasing just the passenger side light off of me. Figure if anyone's in need of only one light we could both benefit from the economies of buying a full pair rather than paying Infiniti list price for one new one.

Anyhow- let me know if anyone's interested, thanks!

-Josh

I may be interested in the headlight. Depends on how much you want for the single head light. And maybe even the broken one. Let me know.

I was hoping, ideally, to get half the price of the set that I'll need to buy. Looks like I can grab the unloaded housings (no HID bulbs/ballasts) on ebay for $750 shipped to my place. Thus, I'd like $375 plus shipping for the one housing- but I'll consider dropping that if it still saves me a bit of money over buying one from Infiniti directly.

As far as the broken one goes- there is a chip in the side of the lens and the interior chrome trip piece is cracked from the top of the fog light to the top of the housing. It was very difficult to get it to show right in pictures, but have a look:

In that second pic you can sort of see the hairline crack on the top of the housing- I can try to get a better pic, but it'll be more difficult as the car is in the shop as of this morning. If you're interested, I'd certainly be interested in setting something up as I was likely going to hold onto this housing for spare parts. Let me know about both this and the idea of the new one.

Oh man- I wish I was local to socal- but not for another couple years. I'm in Boston, so shipping's a factor for you guys. As far as the passenger side light goes, it would be perfect, yes- because I'll be buying a brand new set and only keep the driver's side for myself.

So- I've got available, if somebody's willing to pay to split the new pair, a 100% brand new passenger side light, and 1 damaged driver's side light for parts/repair/modification.

Again, though- I haven't ordered the pair yet because if I don't have somebody lined up and willing to pay their share I'll just be having the body-shop order a single for me. Let me know what you think- if I can get $375 plus shipping for the single it's a done deal.

If you guys are buying the 06 projectors off eBay, chances are you are buying them from a guy on here named Chad. He DOES sell the lights individually you know. That's what I did. Just an FYI.

Yeah- I'm putting two-and-two together on that finally, and I emailed Chad about the pricing of a single light. What price did you have to pay? My original thought was that there might be some discount for purchasing a pair rather than a single, and perhaps that could've benefited us.

Anyhow- even if we all end up buying singles, I've still got my busted light and bumper for sale!

how much did you want for the busted headlight shipped to 97006? I just want it to practice painting the interior bezel before I try it on my own lights so I don't want to pay too much for them

Not really sure what to ask for such a thing- I need to check the weight/dimensions on the light to see what shipping will be and I guess we can go from there. Aside from the cracked bezel the headlight isn't in bad shape at all- the projectors, the housing, the ballast- all of it is still perfect. So I don't know if I could give you a total bargain on it- but I suppose if nobody else was interested we could talk. It's worth something to me to hang on to it for parts alone, though.

Sorry I can't be more specific...I'll look into shipping costs for you and we'll see. Thanks a lot for the interest, though.

i don't need any of the ballast bulbs etc. You need to hold onto those anyways because if you order from chad it doesn't come with those things I believe. I pretty much just need your broken housing to practice on and then I'm gonna scrap it, so I dont want to spend much on it at all. Most shops will just chuck the parts anyways. If you want to hold onto those things for parts, go ahead and strip all the usable parts, and I just need the broken bezel and outer housing, so you'll have your spare parts and I'll take everything that is broken

We might be able to work something out- but what you're looking for really wastes the most valuable part of the assembly (projectors, housing) which are in perfect condition. Throw me an offer, and we'll see- but I'm thinking these would be worth more to somebody who plans on using the "scraps" from your project.

He should charge you for half of what the sale price is. That's what I paid.

well try to find a seller then, but send me a pm if you don't get any buyers because like I said I don't want to pay much since i'm basically using it to practice taking apart the headlight and painting it, or I could even strip it and ship the extra parts back to you
