The amount is in Canadian dollars. I think you're looking in the wrong forum. That's about the going rate for a Canadian G35c.

That's still $29,900 u.s. dollars(It's only worth $25k in the u.s.). I should sell mine up in Canada.

yes it is about 29000.00 canadian and yes it is only 25000.00 us for the same car but you must add in duty and gst that the border would tack on to a u.s. car,(i just brought a car in from the states),and that brings the price back to the 29k mark.when cars are sold in canada there is more taxes and duties added to them plus most cars have a higher canadian retail value than the us counterparts,it sucks, thats why i wll buy cars from the us and import them.

Not to mention the costs of bringing the car up to canadian specs, custom fees, inspection costs and the fact you can't get canadian insurance until the car is inspected and approved for canadian roadways. Not as easy as it seems.

The real secret to getting a car cheaply is becoming a automotive dealer, getting into dealer auctions, dealer plates and broader dealer insurance. Deal with wholesale prices and a whole new world opens up. This is why most private dealers are importing US cars into Canada and making $$$$. Not to mention, the washed out vehicles have to go somewhere.
