FS: H&R Sport Springs (So Cal)
FS: H&R Sport Springs (So Cal)
SOLD
I have a set of used, mint condition H&R Sport Springs for sale.
They are currently still on my car at the moment, but I'll be taking them out when I get some coilovers today. Once they're out, I'll post some pictures.
I had them in the car for about 3k miles, and selling them because I'm opting for coilovers instead.
They are originally for 350Z/Z33, but are the same for G35 Coupes. Even though H&R has different part numbers on the web site, they swear the Z and G springs are identical springs. I have called H&R 4 times already to verify, and the master tech over there kept telling me to trust him and he knows what he's talking about. I tried to argue about the different part numbers on the website for G/Z just to make sure, and he finally got annoyed on the 4th call and told me that it's just for H&R to keep a track of how many they sell for which cars, but comes out from the same manufacturing plant, identical in specs. I guess they must be identical springs.
The printed part # for my set is: 53050, which matches the 350z on the website.
Again, I will take pictures once I get them taken out.
These are like new condition springs and if you would like to get some more information, you can check H&R's website.
Under Find an Application, choose your Year, Make, Model, and it'll give you the list.
http://www.hrsprings.com/site/index.html
The drop is 1.1(F) / 1.0(R) for G35 according to the site. The drop on 350z is 1.3(F) / 1.0(R) on the site, but like I said I've tried to find out how they are different drops on the cars if they're the same springs, and was told by H&R themselves 4 times that they're the same. If you want to further confirm it yourself, you can find their number on hrsprings.com and call them.
I'll post a picture of it installed in my car to give you a basic idea of how the stance would be like. The numbers don't seem like it doesn't drop it much, but as you can see in the picture, it's fairly low. Especially the front. I LOVED how they felt when I got these installed. I haven't had a chance to feel how other springs feel like so can't give you any opinions on comparison, but I was surprised at how much my cornering improved even on stock shocks, with no penalty at all for ride quality. If you pair these with some aftermarket shocks, you won't be disappointed.
I'm not sure how much to ask, so if my price isn't right for you, throw me some offers.
Asking price is $150, and I prefer local buyers. I'm from Irvine, CA (So Cal, Orange County).
If you're interested, please give me a call anytime of the day/night.

Update:
Springs are out of my car, but forgot to take pictures when they were taken out. Now, they're on my stock shocks, and got packed in my coilover box.
If anyone is interested, I will definitely take them out and shoot some pictures for you. I do have the original box for the springs as well.

Wow, nobody jumping on these yet, eh?
And yet, I see many people jumping on Eibach springs!
In my honest opinions, these H&R springs are much better than the Eibachs (at least for the G35).
I'm not trying to talk crap, but I'm just surprised how many people are interested in something that costs less than H&R and wants to pay more than these, AND they're not as good. Maybe I'm asking too little?

I believe they have different ones for the sedans, but as far as them being able to fit the sedans, I'm pretty sure they would fit if any other springs fit. Let me call H&R and see what they say. I'll let you know as soon as I find out.

Compaired to what the springs sell for new $150 is a good deal.
However, all the phone call's to H&R didn't net you reliable info. The only way for what you were told to acurate is for their published coupe drop specs to be incorrect. Their is no such thing as the 350Z based spring being installed on a G35 coupe and having LESS drop when when measured on the Z. Your far better off selling them as they are labeled, "H&R 350Z drop springs"
Any time we install a 350Z based spring on a G35 coupe, owners realize on average a additional .5" drop. A perfect example of this is the Tien 350Z H-tech which drops the Z .3/.2 and the G35 coupe .8/.7 In the same respect when a 350Z based spring is installed on a sedan the average differance in drop amount is +1".

I see. That's why I explained what I had gone through, and still saying it's 350z springs. I don't want to lie, nor make anything up just to sell it. I don't want the buyer having an unpleasant experience. But I did want them to know what I had done so far.
Thank you very much for your advice Gsedan35.
