285's for rears on 19" GTVs ?

I undestand where your comming from with the appearance. At first I didnt like the 275/30..too thin, then the 285/35 a little fat. I had to go with 285 just to protect my rims. The 275's (Nitto's) semed very stretched on my Work rims. The reason like I said I went to the 35 series was primarily road conditions. I drive 1000 miles a week and for the next 5 years the road to work (I-75) is under construction for something like 40 miles and it's a mess. The 35's on the front did not bend the rim where the 30's did. While I agree, style and appearance would be better suited with 30's or 275/35's, practicality and not spending another 125.00 to fix the rim and 300.00 for a tire dictates practicality.
