FS: My G35 Sedan Stillen Exhaust - Modified
Hey Guys
I have had this exhaust for a while, in fact this was the very first Stillen G35 4 door exhaust ever sold by stillen.
dual 2.5" piping, X-pipe
Over the last year or so, I have made further improvements to the exhaust, `makign it a TRUE DUAL 2.5" exhaust. I have gotten rid of the atrocious dual in, hard stop, single-through, dual tips configuration, and installed a true 17" (stock is 14") long dual-in dual-out 2.5" muffler to the exhaust. Additionally, I have installed tow flex joints at the start of the exhaust's "X", allowign for flexibility and reduced stress on the headers.
This is essentially, the best exhaust for the G35 sedan in this form. It sound really nice and deep.
the problem is that the car outgrew this exhaust with the current TT setup. For anything under 500whp, this exhaust is ideal. I am trying to go for greater power with my built engine setup, and need dual 3" piping at thsi point.
I ahve originally bought the exhaust for $800+, muffler reworking was $250, flex joints were additional 180. So I have about 1300 i this exhaust, but will be willing to sell it for $650. This is a great price for a great exhaust, just trying to raise money to get hte custom one made.
Please let me know.
Here are some pictures of the muffler swap, showing the extremely poor Stillen version of the muffler that i replaced.

I do still have the exhaust on the car. Getting a buyer for it would be the final go ahead for me to remove it and go with the custom.
I do not have any audio clips, but it does sound MUCH better than the original Stillen one...much better. THe whistling is compeltely gone, and the feedback from the engine is far superb.
I will try to find the pics of the exhaust I took a while back (during the original install. In fact, I will run a search to try to find it. I took LOTS of pics then. Trust me, even if oyu go out and buy the stillen brand new, you will want to make these mods.
In fact Tony of Motordyne (Hydrazine) did back pressure test of THIS exhaust unmodified on his N/A sedan. If I remember right, the back pressure dropped from a FEW psi (which is HIGH) to just 0.2psi, which is ideal. Maybe he can chime in.
G35Luv, we can meet up and you can see the exhaust in person if you wish.

Hey
Yes it is still for sale. I t does NOT drone on my car, but i am turbo. The exhaust is much more free-flowing then the normal Stillen one, perhaps thatt's why it doesn't drone. But of course turbos have a huge effect on the exhaust note, taming it down a bit.
When/where do you want to meet. PMing you my cell now, call me.
