Hey guys I recently got myself a new headunit so i'm selling my old one. It's a Kenwood DDX-8017. The unit has been used for about a year or so. There is one thing to mention though, there is a slight problem with the Ejection/inserting cd mechanism. Sometimes it does not eject the cd out far enough to take out, and likewise, does not "suck" the cd in enough to be loaded. So what I basically do is when I insert a cd, I would have to use another cd to push it in that extra 1mm or so. And when I eject the cd i have to use another cd to slide it out enough for me to be able to grip it and pull it out. Im sure this can be easily fixed but I do not have the time for it. For that, I will simply sell the unit for $500 picked up or 500 + shipping.

what unit did you replace it with? I have the 8019 and am very pleased so far. I hope the eject problem is not common with the kenwoods.

 

i got a pioneer avh-6800dvd. I thought about getting the 8019 too but i wanted the 6 cd changer plus like you said, i was worried about the eject problem being common in kenwoods.
