you know what? my mistake. I assumed it was just the plain front plate attachement piece but now I'v read more about sedans and see that it is probably the front cover for the sedan bumpers.

yes it is the plate blank
you install it if you have no front plate
have no use for it hate to dump it

They cost about 100 bucks from dealer...they have to special order it......it comes with the car...if you have front license plate....the cover is usually placed in the trunk
