Plz Help!

so recently i've been getting problems with my car..

when i'm driving at a normal speed.. say 20 mph at around 2000 rpm's or less then when i push the gas (when the engine revs to 2500+ rpm's) i hear a crakling noise.. after the first time i hear that noise. i let go of the gas and push it again and it makes the same noise..i'm not sure if its from the engine or somewhere through my exhaust. the exhaust are original but i do have a Stillen CAI w/ Z Tube in my engine.. the crazy part is this only happens once in a while, but lately its been happening more often!.

-I've heard that its becuase of the heat that the car is under??
-I've also heard that its the tranny thats messed up??

I have an 06' G35 5AT.

Thanks for looking.

That is true, if they can't reproduce the sound they will give you back your car and say "no fault found" or "can't reproduce the issue".

Take the service guy for a drive and see if you can do it.

make a video of the noise while driving your car and then take it to them.

Take it in to the dealer , that way if they don't find it and later down the line it goes completely out after your warranty expires you have a record of the problem even if they didn't find it at the time. Gives you something to fall back on if you have to fight with them to fix it.

ok soo update on this issue.. 9-21-07

I went to day in the morning to check this issue out. Me and the Service advisor went on a drive.. luckily the noise was there nd first he tells me that is carbon built up ect.. don't even remember.. then when i was just pumping on the gas he also heard that noise and he said we have to look at that (he said it was a ringing noise).. then he talks to some mechanic and then i go on another drive now with the mechanice.. but then he states that he didn't anythin.. then we go back to the dealership then talk to the service manger nd he says we can't do anythin.. so i get pissed at him and he says not to come back?!?!.. wats up w/ tat??..

..now tell me is this noise normal?.. because they told me that your going to hear a lot of weird noises becuase "its a coupe?"..

Thanks..
