I am getting rid of my civic whcih has this D3 in there. You are probably like why spend $25 more when i can buy it from another guy? I will also include the iPod cable and the optional remote for the unit. Thanks! Will send pics on request

i just purchased a brand new avic-d3 from amazon by the seller 6ave, a factory authorized dealer with full manufacturer's warranty, for $688.06 including free shipping.

i bought a new ipod cable off of ebay for 25 bucks incl shipping

grand total = 713.06

how does this unit compare to other or newer models? well, how old is this model? did it come out this past year? i was thinking of a z1 or z2, but if theres not much difference, i may have to grab this up. is it touch screen?

new price......700shipped.......D3 is same thing as Z2 but Z2 has the built in HDD and i think screen is a bit bigger....

z2 has voice activation, and a grand more worth of useless crap. stick with the d3

yeah i think Z2 is overrated

the benefit of the Z2 is the hd. W/ the d3 if u want to listen to CDs and use navi you'd have to insert the navi disc and let it it buffer the area you're driving in and then insert your audio cd again.

so basically you can use both, but it's a PITA where as that isn't an issue w/ the z2. Oh, and d3 is $700 online, z3 is $1300, so it is $600 diff, not 1k.

i'm debating between which one I want to get myself.
