FS: used JWT flywheel
FS: used JWT flywheel
I had this flywheel for awhile, just sitting around, collecting dust. Honestly, I don't even remember how long I've used this flywheel for, but it's been around 8~10 months... that's about 10~12k miles for me. I took the destroyed RPS clutch and this flywheel off about one and a half years ago.
The flywheel's friction plate has been glazed and needs to be replaced. It can be purchased directly from JWT or other vendors on this site for about 50 or so. Bolts are not reusable and should be bought as well. There are also 3 rash ranges from my starter (I think it wasn't aligned correctly). The depth of the rash is less than 1 mm.
Without further a due, the pics:
1. Overall picture of the flywheel. Note the shiny "silver plate", which is the friction plate. The shine is from the glaze.

2. Profile view. Notice the hot spots on the friction plate.

3. Backside. Clean as ever. No problems here.

4. Rash range #1. Note the depth of the rashes are minimal.

5. Profile view to show the depth of rash range.

6. Rash range #2. Same as above.

7. Rash range #3. Same as above.

Key Points:
- Only usable with VQ35DE manual transmissions.
- The flywheel's friction plate is glazed. IT IS NOT USABLE. IT MUST BE REPLACED.
- The bolts must be replaced.
- About 25% of the starter teeth have been rashed. The depth of the rashes are less than 1 mm.
I am asking for 125 shipped or 100 local pickup. I don't need the flywheel, but I would like to use the monies for cheap hookers and alcohol, my two vices.
If the pics are too small to see, please email me at wscope@hotmail.com for higher resolution pics as photobucket always resizes these darn things.
Thank you for looking,
Andy.
