FS: 2003-2006 G35 iPOD Adapter $100 shipped

Bought this item off ebay and have decided not to install on my vehicle since my ipod just died. Unopened package in exact same condition that I received it in. Paid $135 shipped, willing to let go for $120 with shipping already included.

I've provided a link below for the ebay listing which provides answers to every question you may have and pictures of the unit.

Any advice?

Am I asking too much or is it my lack of reputation on here?

That's where you can get creative and run it wherever you'd like. I haven't installed it on my vehicle, the unit is unopened but you have enough cord there to run it pretty much wherever you'd like. I was going to install mine and run the cable into the center console for a nice clean hidden look. You can run it there or the glove box or even next to the cigarette lighter.

It doesn't look like this unit operates the same as the USASpec iPod adapter. It seems like it is a PAC-NIS2 but you are able to charge the iPod as well.

Will it scroll the song information on the HU when playing from an iPod?

Good question. I haven't installed the unit in my vehicle so I don't know the answer. It didn't say anything on the auction listing regarding that feature but I will find out for you.

From looking at the pictures, it appears as though the iPod dock connector is only there for a power and audio connection not control.

If it is the case that it is possible to control an iPod using the steering wheel controls and have the song info scroll on the display then I would be interested.

I had an after-market headunit in my last car and I was able to use a RCA/mini-plug cable that connected from the auxillary input on the back of the headunit to my ipod. I got it at radioshack for $6!

Does the stock headunit on the g35 not have an auxillary input for RCA?

If NOT, then I will consider this product.
