FS: V-tube Z-tube larger diameter than oem

FS V-tube Z-tube larger diameter than oem by 2 mm or so ,
for improved air flow
made out of plastic so it wont transfer heat like metal tubes do
$65 shipped

yes its still fits with original rubber pieces, a little tight but it fits, if you want just get new ones at any hardware store for a few bucks

and you'll gain a whole extra ~1hp??? no intake does a damn thing but give better sound on our cars unless you get it tuned.

Larger tube = lower velocity = HP LOSS unless you are FI.

Its homemade. I don't know if by the OP or someone else, but its definitely pieced together PVC. All standard stuff you can buy at any home improvement store.

Yes I made it myself

Velocity on our stock sized tube looks a little higher than it should be, so by opening up a little you will see the same results as in plenum spacer mod.

This is dangerous, becasue with heat the PVC melts and emits dangerous fumes that go to your engine.... BAD !!!!!

Hes got one on ebay too, i think he is trying to make and sell these!!!


Bad news to use PVC pipe!! Your better off using the intake kits they have at Pep boys that have bends in them...
