not too sure about the 3g iphones, but the older ones worked....

it works on all iphones. the only problem is that when you connect it your iphone will go into an Aux mode and you will not be able to make or receive any phone calls. basically while ur phoen is connected it will be relegated to being an ipod and will go into aiplane mode which sucks ***

Not completely true.. You can switch the PA11-NIS into Playlist mode or Direct mode, Playlist mode puts it into the "aux" mode that jay is talking about, direct mode means that the iPhone can be controlled through the steering wheel/radio controls OR the iPhone/iPod. Also, this does NOT charge the iPhone 3g, as with the 3g, Apple cut FireWire charging, which is what this unit uses.

I'm willing to bet that there will be something made for them within a few weeks maybe a month, basically a different cable..
